If your parish has ever started a brand-new Facebook page because nobody knew how to add an admin to the old one,
this is for you.

The way I see it, you didn't just lose a login. You threw away years of followers and the community you'd already built. And then, you had to start over from zero.

Meet the Parish Comms Overhaul

It isn't your fault.

You were handed the parish communications on top of everything else you do, probably with no training, no handover, and a logo that's older than the person who designed it. You're making it work with what you have. That's not nothing.

But here's what's quietly happening while the posts go out sporadically and the bulletin takes all morning. The people who would have found you, the young families, the thirty- and forty-somethings looking for a parish, the newcomer in town on a Sunday, can't.

Not because they don't care.

Because they can't find you, or what they find doesn't look alive.

That's the gap I fix.

This is Spero Creative

My name is Janelle

Before going out on my own, I spent years in communications at the Archdiocese of Winnipeg, through leadership transitions, big announcements, and the everyday work of helping a diocese speak clearly and carefully to its people.

I've run Canva workshops for parish and diocese staff from across Western Canada. I've also created content for the kind of behind-the-scenes storytelling that makes people lean in instead of scroll past.

I know this world. The budgets are tight, the volunteers come and go, and the pastor changes every several years while you stay. That's exactly why I built this.

Done with you, not done and disappeared.

Over six to eight weeks, I come in, figure out what your parish actually needs, set it up properly, and make sure you can run it with confidence after I leave.

1. We sit down together

You, your pastor and me. What's working, what isn't, what you actually need. No cookie-cutter package.

2. I build it for you

3. Accounts set up correctly

This is a Paragraph. Click on "Edit Text" or double click on the text box to start editing the content and make sure to add any relevant details or information that you want to share with your visitors.

4. I teach you, in-person, at your desk

How to post, where to find comments, how it all actually works. You'll be able to do this yourself when I go.

5. I don't vanish

Six weeks of ask-me-anything support after we finish.

WHAT YOU'RE LEFT WITH

A parish presence that's findable, looks cared-for, and keeps working when the pastor changes.

Communications your office owns. Not something held together by one person's memory and a password nobody wrote down.
